Biscoe, NC – "When I conceded the 2006 election, just 330 votes short of victory for the working families of the 8th District, I knew the fight for the future of this District was too important to postpone another day. That's why I immediately announced my 2008 campaign, and vowed to meet those 330 voters many times over before November 2008...

Three hundred and thirty individuals that either couldn't vote, didn't vote (but wish they had) or voted for my opponent and now regret it.

I'm pleased to introduce you to the first of 330 - Mitchell from Montgomery County.

Mitchell is a young man that never voted before, but believed in our campaign, volunteered on a near daily basis and registered to vote via mail. God bless the US Postal Service, but his registration never got there and thus he was turned away on election day. You'll be happy to know Mitchell is now a registered voter in Montgomery County and the first of the 330.
